Position Title: Supervisor (Accounts)
Snapshot of the Role
The Accounts Supervisor is responsible for managing the full set of accounts, ensuring accurate financial records, timely month-end closing, account reconciliations, tax reporting, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The role monitors cash flow, prepares financial and management reports, coordinates audit activities, and maintains strong financial controls to support sound business decisions and organizational growth.
You are driven to:
- Maintain and manage the full set of accounts for a few small companies
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial reports.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
- Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and working capital requirements.
- Prepare and submit tax-related reports
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Review accounting transactions and supporting documents to maintain accuracy and strong internal controls.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- 3 years of relevant working experience
- Able to handle a full set of accounts independently
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices
