Position Title: Merchandiser (2 vacancies in Malacca, 2 vacancies in JB Depoh)
Snapshot of the role:
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Merchandiser to join our Sales department at the Malacca farm & JB Depoh. Reporting to the Sales Manager, your will involve in maximizes sales and profitability by ensuring products are properly stocked, priced, and attractively displayed at retail locations. They manage inventory levels, execute planograms, set up promotional signage, and analyze sales data to ensure optimal product placement. Key skills include attention to detail, organization, and communication to our integrated poultry business.You are driven to:
- Visual display and presentation:
Merchandisers create appealing and effective product displays, which may include window displays and store layouts, to attract customers and encourage purchases. - Inventory management:
They manage stock levels, ensuring shelves are fully stocked, rotating products, and checking for expired items. - Promotions and launches:
They work with sales and marketing teams to implement promotional setups and ensure new products are launched successfully. - Store execution:
They conduct store visits to monitor merchandising standards, ensure brand guidelines are followed, and report on stock levels and performance. - Analysis:
Merchandisers may analyze sales data to identify trends and report on market changes. - Collaboration:
They often collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and the sales team to execute plans and manage product flow.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Minimum SPM
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in FMCG
- Experience of working with Autocount software will be an added advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
