Position Title: Manager – Production
Snapshot of the role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to lead the setup, commissioning, and day-to-day operations of a new Frankfurter plant in Tawau, Sabah. This is a key leadership role for a hands-on professional with strong food manufacturing experience, operational discipline, and a passion for building efficient production systems from the ground up.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full production function, ensuring product quality, food safety compliance, production efficiency, cost control, and team performance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has experience in processed food, meat, poultry, sausage, or ready-to-eat food production.
You are driven to:
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met
- Plan and manage production schedules to meet demand and delivery timelines
- Lead and supervise production teams, ensuring proper manpower planning and performance management
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies
- Monitor production costs, wastage, and continuously improve productivity
- Coordinate with QA, maintenance, and supply chain departments for smooth operations
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry
- At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards.
- Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
