Position Title: Farm Technical Manager
Snapshot of the role:
This Farm Technical Manager role is an individual contributor who focus to provide expert technical supports to poultry farms under QL Group with the objective of improving animal/poultry health, productivity, and overall farm performance.
What You’ll Own
- Conducts farm visit and assist in farm audit to check for compliance to work procedure.
- Assist Veterinarian manager to manage crisis during disease outbreak, such as disease diagnosis & recommending appropriate control measures.
- Assists Veterinarian Manager in developing, writing and translating SOP to document best practices and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Assists Veterinarian Manager in managing Farm Quality Assurance program to achieve best farming practice
- Assists in organizing farm conferences/seminar/training activities to update of knowledge team members and subsidiaries.
- Compiles, analyse & report data on flock health monitoring programs initiated by COE to communicate outcomes of monitoring activities.
- Conducts technical trial & R&D on poultry related subjects to enhance farm performance.
Must-Haves
- Must have Degree in Animal Science/Livestock/Veterinary Medicine.
- MUST be able to travel outstation for site support.
- Minimum 5 years of hands on working experience in poultry farm.
- Possessed strong knowledge in poultry health skill in poultry diseases diagnosis.
- Able to communicate with stakeholders from different levels.
