Position Title: Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance (Retail Division)
Snapshot of the role:
Take on a key leadership role in driving the financial performance of the retail division, where you will oversee end-to-end accounting operations, deliver meaningful financial insights. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with both finance and operations teams, strengthen internal controls, and lead a team towards excellence in reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement in a dynamic, multi-outlet retail environment.You are driven to:
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting and insights that support decision-making.
- Strengthen controls and streamline processes to improve efficiency and data quality.
- Take ownership, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Lead by example and build a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
- Partner with operations to ensure smooth finance support for outlets and head office.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent; professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA/MIA) is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail/FMCG or multi-site operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to coach and develop a team.
- Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis; strong attention to detail.
- Good command of MS Excel and accounting systems; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
