Position Title: Environmental Executive
Snapshot of the role:
Environmental Executive is responsible to oversee the Scrubber Operation and Scheduled Waste Management as integral parts of environmental control monitoring in accordance with DOE standards or guidelines.
You are driven to:
- Conduct routine inspections of scrubber to ensure effective operation and pollutant removal efficiency.
- Monitor the operating parameters and pollutant levels of scrubber through periodic stack air emission testing.
- Conduct detailed scheduled waste assessment for identified waste types and quantities generated.
- Coordinate proper sorting of scheduled waste at designated storage areas prior to disposal for further treatment.
- Liaise with scheduled waste contractors to ensure compliance and oversee disposal process.
- Maintain relevant records of scheduled waste inventory both manually and through EWSIS.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of scrubber and scheduled waste monitoring to facilitate audits by relevant regulatory authorities.
- Continuously support sustainability data compilation and reporting for scheduled waste management.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in environmental management, preferably some basic knowledge towards scrubber operation and scheduled waste.
- Certified with CePSO/CePSWAM/CePIETSO competency
- Specially trained in areas such as environmental monitoring equipment, pollution control technologies or sustainable practices.
- High self-disciplined and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
