Position Title: Senior Trainer cum Administrator Executive

Snapshot of the role:

Senior Trainer cum Administrator Executive is responsible to develop training manuals for QL Academy, conduct training and maintain training records under the Centre of Excellence (COE) department for the Integrated Livestock Farming (ILF) business division.

This role will be temporarily based at HQ Shah Alam office and will move to QL Poultry Academy training centre located at QL Poultry Farms (Pajam, Negeri Sembilan) by mid to year end of 2024.

You are driven to:

  • Facilitate, conduct and monitor trainings, including OJT, SLDN Program or any related learning and development program such as Onboarding New Staff, New Process, Technical Training, SLDN Training, Farm Operation Training Program for all farms under ILF division.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and prepare all weekly or monthly training reports/results of training and submit to Training Manager and stakeholders on a timely basis and monitor training progress for each farm.
  • Develop, prepare, update, and maintain all training records, training aids and training materials.
  • Develop training needs analysis (TNA) or gaps and implement training solutions to maximize results to positively impact the productivity, areas of improvement and performance of the operation especially on training method.
  • Responsible for preparing, coordinating, administering, monitoring, and ensuring all training programs, OJT, SLDN programs and other related training programs can be implemented efficiently and by following the company procedure.
  • Handle all administration tasks for SLDN and HRDCorp on matters pertaining to the training registrations. applications, claims, documentation and reimbursements.
  • Liaise, coordinate, and manage internal (such as trainers, Farm General Manager, Farm HR) and external vendors/stakeholders (such as JPK, Pegawai Penilai) in training-related matters, as in coordinating logistics for training sessions and materials/ room preparation.
  • Assist the Training Manager in developing SOP development and ensure the compliance of administration and documentation activities.
  • Assist in the development, interpretation, application and implementation of training guidelines, improvement plans and other training-related matters.
  • General training administration duties and other ad-hoc assignments.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management/ Psychology/Business Administration / Office Management or other relevant fields from reputable universities with a minimum CGPA 3.5 or first-class upper. Certification from talent and training associations is a strong plus.
  • Junior executives in HR or Learning and Development (L&D) or candidates with 2 – 3 years’ experience in training and development. Candidates with experience in SLDN coordination will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in liaising and dealing with various government Agencies like Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, education institutions would be added advantage.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Working knowledge in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects
  • Experience in designing technical course content, developing and leading training programs or teaching in some capacity.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, organizational and presentation skills in order to design and deliver effective and impactful training programs.
  • Candidates must be willing to be based at QL Poultry Farms (Pajam, Negeri Sembilan) by mid to year end of 2024.
