Position Title: IT Application Support Executive
Snapshot of the role:
We are looking for a driven IT Application Support Executive who will be responsible to provide day-to-day IT applications support for improvement opportunities in alignment to QL Group long term goal and short-term win throughout the digital transformation journey.You are driven to:
- Provide support to internal users and guide them on the daily business applications.
- Resolve IT application and system issues across the organization.
- Ensure support requests are carry out, implemented and monitored to improve the overall operational performance of the customer experience and knowledge.
- Responsible to reduce incidents and prioritise customer satisfaction as the major deliverable in compliance with service level agreement.
- Document problem statements including updating application documentation linked to support activities, develop business cases and propose solutions for improvements.
- Identify, communicate and escalate support risks when needed.
- Participate and conduct testing, training and knowledge transfer to users.
- Deliver business requirements within agreed timelines while ensuring quality controls and customer satisfaction.
- Highlight opportunities and conduct deep dive into analytics based on business priority and focus.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree or Master in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- At least 3 – 5 years experience as an application support with good customer-centric and strong passion in customer support.
- Strong knowledge and experience in supporting Infor M3 ERP (preferably on Supply Chain Management solutions) and / or farm management systems will be of added advantage;
- Good knowledge and experience installing and configuring MS SQL Server database or any relational database systems. Knowledge of scripting languages will be of added advantage.
- Experience on data analysis including management of centralized master data will be of added advantage.
- Excellent problem solving skills and have experience in testing, troubleshooting systems support activities etc.
- Strong critical and analytical thinking skills with attention to detail to analyze the support issues and providing appropriate solutions.
- Self-motivated with capability to drive goals with good work ethics and discipline.
- Willing to be based at Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam.
