Position Title: Assistant Maintenance Engineer
Snapshot of the role:
Lead the maintenance team in preventative maintenance tasks on the facilities, equipment and machinery and ensure all work is scheduled and performed in a safe and efficient so as to optimize operational efficiency.You are driven to:
- Set up maintenance team and provide direct hiring, supervision, delegation and guidance to subordinate in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
- Implement preventive maintenance guidelines, policies, procedure and standard.
- Assess potential risk and make appropriate recommendation for actions.
- Ensure employees receive proper training on company equipment and tool and conduct annual evaluation.
- Ensure availability of materials, anticipating requirements and reordering.
- Ensure work environment is safe by following prescribed guidelines.
- Ensure proper repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities are performed.
- Ensure all work is performed and completed in conformance with established guidelines, policies, procedures or standard.
- Maintain proper record and filing of work performed as per statutory requirement and standards.
- Work closely with production in scheduling preventive maintenance to ensure all production goals are met.
- Take any initiatives and assignments as assigned by the Company.
What you’ll need to succeed: (job requirements)
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related major
- 2 years’ experience in mechanical and electrical fields
- Passionate to get involved in all aspect of work in maintenance, troubleshoot and repair
- Strong leadership skills
- Computer literate
