Position Title: Assistant Farm Manager
Snapshot of the role:
Lead, monitor, evaluate and facilitate farm operating process for continued growth and sustainability in line with the Company’s direction.You are driven to:
- Formulate and implement plans, strategies, operating process, and efficiency targets or metrics to optimise resources, quality, and production at the lowest cost possible and resource optimisation.
- Conduct audits, field inspections, and workflow analyses to benchmark within and outside the industry requirement and validate the progress.
- Facilitate the identified problem areas and recommend areas as a focus for process redesign to promote effective, efficient, and economic practices.
- Provide training, guidance, direction, performance review, mentoring, and motivation to staff in carrying out their roles and responsibilities, and integrating process improvement into operations.
- Initiate and perform weekly and monthly production reviews with farms and management.
- Provide direct hiring, supervision, delegation, target setting, performance evaluation, and guidance to subordinates in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
- Assist in managing budgets and costs.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science or equivalent.
- Strong in problem-solving, analytical and leadership skills.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience at managerial capacity.
- Candidates with experience in broiler faming and ready for managerial role are encouraged to apply.
- Computer literate
